I am not a Christian, can I benefit from the services of Check Your Compass?
While our orientation around counseling issues is informed by Biblical principles, anyone can benefit from our services. We never push our beliefs on people who do not agree, but in order to get the most out of our counseling, you need to have an openness toward the constructs that we will share with you.
Does Check Your Compass take insurance?
No, we do not take insurance; however your insurance may provide an out of network benefit. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card for Mental or Behavioral Health and ask them about Out of Network’s Benefits. Insurance may cover the first hour of our intensive sessions, but you would have to seek reimbursement from them.
How much does counseling/coaching cost?
When you set up a free consult with Dr. Vinnie, he will go over the options for pricing. We have a scholarship fund for those who are unable to pay the full price; you may ask to apply for a scholarship.
Where is Check Your Compass located?
We have multiple locations in MetroWest Boston (Framingham and Hopkinton). Most of our work is done online but we can make in-person sessions available. If you live outside of the state of Massachusetts, we are unable to provide counseling unless you travel here for the services. If you do not require clinical level counseling, we can provide coaching services which can be just as effective.
