Frequently Asked Questions

  • We're located in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, just 26 miles to the west of Boston, conveniently situated just off I-495. But, here's the good news – even if you're not local, our coaching services are accessible online. And for those seeking therapy, we offer intensive counseling sessions, so you can come visit us in person. Whether near or far, we're here to support your journey to healing and growth.

  • We do not accept health insurance as a payment method for our services. Through years of experience, we have found that the most effective approach for serving our clients involves specialized coaching and intensive programs. Unfortunately, these services are typically not covered by insurance providers.

It's important to note that insurance generally does not cover coaching, and for counseling services, it often only covers the first hour of an intensive session for which they may reimburse you.

If you have questions about your insurance coverage, we recommend reaching out to your insurance provider directly. Here are some useful questions you can ask them:

Do I have a mental or behavioral health policy that includes out-of-network benefits?

What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

How much does my insurance reimburse for services provided by an out-of-network provider?

Could you please confirm the reimbursement rates for CPT code 90837?

Do I have an out-of-network deductible, and if so, how much of it has already been met?

What is the start date of the calendar year that my out-of-network policy is based on?

What is my patient responsibility (copay) for each session?

Does my plan include coverage for extended sessions beyond 60 minutes, and if so, what is the coverage, and which CPT codes should my therapist use for these sessions?

We recommend contacting the phone number provided on the back of your insurance card to speak directly with your insurance provider. This will help you gain a better understanding of your insurance's reimbursement policies and how they may apply to the services we offer.

  • Great question! Let's talk about how therapy typically works and why intensive therapy might be a game-changer for you.

In the traditional therapy model, you might pay a small copay each week, and there's often no clear end date in sight. Your therapist may not have a strong incentive to speed up your progress because, well, they want to keep you as a client. On your end, it might not be a top priority to get better quickly because your investment is relatively low.

Now, let's switch gears to intensive therapy, which is a bit like turning the traditional model on its head. Here, we ask you to invest your time, energy, and resources in yourself. We work together to define your goals, and our mission is to equip you with the tools and guidance to reach those goals in the most efficient way possible.

Our aim is to help you get to where God wants you to be as efficiently as we can. And here's the exciting part – we also want to show you how to continue this journey independently, without needing us indefinitely.

To give you an idea of how powerful intensive counseling can be, consider a client we had who had accumulated 30 years' worth of difficult experiences to work through. Using traditional therapy, it took about a year and a half, totaling around 30 hours of counseling, to address all these issues. The extended time-frame was partly due to addressing new challenges that cropped up between sessions.

But with intensive counseling, it's a different story. We streamline the process, allowing individuals to make remarkable progress in a shorter time. In fact, some clients who were feeling stuck and turned to us for help saw more improvement in just a couple of intensive sessions than they did in years of traditional talk therapy.

So, if you're looking to accelerate your healing journey and get where you want to be faster, intensive counseling might be the perfect fit for you. Let's chat more about it during our consultation!
