FAQs

If you ask yourself, “Why do I feel like crying for no reason?” or “Why do I feel like crying all the time?” — know that you’re not alone. Crying is a normal response to overwhelming emotions, especially during grief. It’s your heart’s way of processing sadness, even if you can’t put it into words.
Sometimes grief hits in waves. You may feel like crying suddenly or want to cry but can’t. This doesn’t mean you’re weak — even Jesus wept (John 11:35).
If you need help, grief counseling, grief support services, or depression help can provide relief. These resources offer tools to manage grief, cope with emotions, and find healing.

Dealing with depression and grief together can feel overwhelming. Grief often brings waves of sadness, confusion, and fatigue, while depression can deepen those feelings. It’s important to know you’re not alone.
Grief support services — like grief counseling and grief management — can provide comfort and clarity. If your sadness feels unmanageable, seeking depression help can give you practical tools to heal.

We do not accept health insurance as a payment method for our services. Through years of experience, we have found that the most effective approach for serving our clients involves specialized coaching and intensive programs. Unfortunately, these services are typically not covered by insurance providers.
It's important to note that insurance generally does not cover coaching, and for counseling services, it often only covers the first hour of an intensive session for which they may reimburse you.
If you have questions about your insurance coverage, we recommend reaching out to your insurance provider directly. Here are some useful questions you can ask them:
Do I have a mental or behavioral health policy that includes out-of-network benefits? What is the coverage amount per therapy session? How much does my insurance reimburse for services provided by an out-of-network provider? Could you please confirm the reimbursement rates for CPT code 90837? Do I have an out-of-network deductible, and if so, how much of it has already been met? What is the start date of the calendar year that my out-of-network policy is based on? What is my patient responsibility (copay) for each session? Does my plan include coverage for extended sessions beyond 60 minutes, and if so, what is the coverage, and which CPT codes should my therapist use for these sessions?
We recommend contacting the phone number provided on the back of your insurance card to speak directly with your insurance provider. This will help you gain a better understanding of your insurance's reimbursement policies and how they may apply to the services we offer. -
Our journey begins with a sincere effort to understand your specific needs.
You'll receive a brief survey carefully crafted to gather essential information about your circumstances and goals. This survey serves as a valuable tool, guaranteeing that our initial conversation is meaningful and purposeful.
Then, we'll arrange a call to address both your important questions and ours. After gaining a comprehensive grasp of your individual journey, we'll then outline the two distinct paths that most of our clients choose to embark on when partnering with us. This way, you can confidently discern whether our approach resonates with the path you believe God is guiding you towards. Find out more. Learn more.
